I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
